In Denmark, since 2002, a national system exists. It is named DkDRG. It is based on the NordDRG system.1 |

«Grey-zone» procedures |
In order not to create incentives for unnecessary hospital stays, so-called «grey-zone» procedures were implemented. For such treatments, a DRG lump sum was established regardless of the type of hospital stay (in- or outpatient treatment).2 |
